Q. How do I register for the NRPA Congress & Exposition?
A. There are three ways to register for the 2008 event:
    1. Online: Click HERE to register online! 
    2. Mail: Mail your completed registration form to NRPA Registration c/o EPIC, 10900 Granite St., Charlotte, NC 28273.
    3. Fax: Fax your completed registration form to 980.233.3800.

Q. What is included in the registration fee?
A. The following is a breakdown of Congress registration packages:

  • Full Package: All Education Sessions, General Session, Expo Daily Admission, Career Center, Research Symposium, NRPA Welcome Party, NRPA Closing Party
  • Limited Package: All Education Sessions, General Session, Expo Daily Admission, Career Center, Research Symposium
  • Guest Package: General Session, Expo Daily Admission, NRPA Welcome Party, NRPA Closing Party
  • Retired Package: All Education Sessions, General Session, Expo Daily Admission, Career Center, Research Symposium, NRPA Welcome Party, NRPA Closing Party
  • Student Package: All Education Sessions, General Session, Expo Daily Admission, Career Center, Research Symposium, NRPA Welcome Party, NRPA Closing Party

*Nonmember registration fees automatically include individual membership to NRPA for one year. Please indicate on your registration form if you wish to opt-out of this service. **Students must be full time (12 hours undergraduate, 8 hours graduate) and submit a bill or letter from their bursar's office.

Q. Can I register on site?
A. Yes. Registration will be located in the Baltimore Convention Center. Please see the Schedule At a Glance for official registration hours.

Q. Can I still access my CEU transcripts from last year's event in Indianapolis?
A. You can access NRPA's online CEU transcript delivery system by clicking here. If you have further questions, please call 703.858.2152.

Q. Where can I find description of the Off-Site Institutes or education sessions?
A. Session descriptions and information about our Off-Site Institutes are available on the OSI page of this site. Be sure to check out our Personal Planner to help plan your schedule.

Q. How do I make reservations for my accommodations during the event?
A. Several area hotels have been selected to serve as conference hotels and  offer discounted conference rates. You may make reservations at any of the conference hotels HERE. Please keep in mind that staying at one of our conference hotels enables NRPA to negotiate for future conferences, and helps us keep the meeting space rental to a minimum.

Q. How many people usually attend the NRPA Congress & Exposition?
A. In recent years, nearly 12,000 suppliers and other participants have attended.

Q. Can I attend just the Exhibit Hall?
A. Yes, you may purchase an exhibit-only pass for $65 if you register online by August 22. You will need to complete a conference registration form for your Expo Only ticket.

Q. Where is the annual meeting held?
A. Each year the event is held in a different U.S. city. Locations are selected at least five years in advance. This year, the NRPA Congress & Exposition will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Upcoming annual meetings will be held in Salt Lake City (Oct. 13-17, 2009), Minneapolis (Oct. 26-30, 2010) and Atlanta (Nov. 1-4, 2011). 

Q. What about tours?
A. Please see the Travel page for information on Leisure Excursions and Bus Tours. You must register in advance. Once you arrive at the meeting, you can rely upon the local host committee members, who staff an on-site help desk at the convention center. They can tell you about local attractions, restaurants and where to find the best their city has to offer.
 
Q. What is the dress code for the event?
A. Dress comfortably and wear shoes that are good for walking. Our venues are usually quite spread out. Check the regional weather before you pack so you will know what to expect.

Q. I require special accommodations. Where can I find more information on accessibility?
A. Information on accessibility is included in the registration form. Please remember to indicate on your registration form if you need special accommodation. An NRPA representative will contact you.

Q. Are there any scholarship opportunities available to attend the NRPA Congress & Exposition?
