  • We’ll depart the Baltimore Convention Center by motor coach with our guide who will give commentary on the people and places that have shaped African American culture, along with an overview of Baltimore. We’ll pass Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Eubie Blake Museum, Billie Holiday Park, the Afro American Newspaper and other points of interest. You’ll tour the Baltimore Civil War Museum as well as Great Blacks in Wax Museum.

  • Experience the beauty of the Eastern Shore with an overnight excursion to historic St. Michaels and downtown Easton. Day one the group travels to St. Michaels where half of the group will be dropped to shop and eat lunch on your own and the other half will travel to Tilghman Island for a two-hour boat trip to tour three light houses, then the groups will switch. Late afternoon, everyone travels to Easton’s quaint restored historic Tidewater Inn Hotel. Once checked in, participants can walk around the local area in Easton. Those who choose can return to St. Michael’s for day two of the tour includes continental breakfast at the hotel, a narrated tour of Oxford and visit to the Oxford Museum, and a quick ride on the Oxford/Bellevue Ferry to Bellevue for ice cream at the Scottish Highland Creamery.
